Looking for something new? Then check out Forbidden Donut, the moniker of multi-instrumentalist Blair Jensen. Combining his love for the saxophone and flute with the most current trends in experimental electronic music.

F.D. challenges the norm by performing live utilizing hardware (keyboards and a drum machine) and looping devices (as opposed to sitting on stage staring at a laptop).

Fans of Forbidden Donut have described his music as the bridge between Boards of Canada, Monolake and John Coltrane.

Part improvisation, part composed, F.D. shows are always unique and can range from free jazz/noise to minimal techno to driving IDM.

Currently, Forbidden Donut has just released his first self-titled EP and is fast at work on a full-length release. He is also composing music for the new play Dead Woman Home by the very talented playwright/actor May Nazareno. In addition, F.D. is also performing and creating music with two very talented women (harpist Monica Schley and vocalist Christina Honeycutt), exploring the lost concept of pretty melodies.
