byproduct is the moniker for electronic producer Brett Yarnton. His approach emphasizes composition and arrangement within the context of many different loop, sequence, and sample based genres. Drawing on dnb, IDM, breakbeat, house, bliphop, and just about every other style he can get his hands on, Brett is always digesting new influences and sounds to then push through his laptop in interesting and compelling ways.
Before becoming almost completely enamored with electronic music, Brett spent two years studying jazz guitar at the Berklee College of music, and an additional year studying classical guitar at the University of Washington.
